Apple sold 1.4 million iPhones in Q4 2017, the most since the iPhone 6 was released in 2009, according to a new report from IDC.
The new report is based on Apple’s Q4 2018 financial report.
The report shows that Apple sold a whopping 3.6 million iPhones, the company’s highest figure in over a decade.
That was the most iPhones Apple sold in any quarter since the introduction of the iPhone 5 in 2012.
Apple also sold 730 million iPads, a record.
IDC said that the sales of iPads are up slightly year-on-year.IDC’s Q1 2017 report said that Apple was the best-selling device maker in the world, beating Samsung and Microsoft.
The company has continued to grow its business, adding 1.6 billion iPhones in the first quarter of 2017.
The iPhone 6S, which is expected to be released in September, sold more than 1.5 million units in the quarter.
