If you think you may have been sued for defamation after your daughter was named in a viral meme about a viral celebrity hairstyle, you’re not alone.
The latest celebrity to be sued for allegedly insulting a viral child’s hair is the baby of actress Olivia Munn, who tweeted about the meme.
The Daily Mail reports that Munn’s daughter was featured on the meme, which was originally created by a user named @thebabyshair and has since been retweeted more than 40,000 times.
Munn, a Canadian-born actress, said she wasn’t aware the meme was about her daughter until after she was named on Twitter.
“I didn’t know that it was about me until it was retweeted by someone else,” she told the Daily Mail.
Munn’s child, whose name was not given, was named Olivia Munns hair, and was later identified as a child by the mother of her child.
“She was the first person I thought about because of the hair,” Munn told the paper.
“When I heard that she was being sued I thought ‘wow.'”
Munn has yet to respond to a request for comment from the Daily News.
